Prevent Moles from Tearing Up Your Yard

Moles live underground and only occasionally come up to the surface. They almost swim through dirt with their cylindrical bodies and sharp front claws ideal for digging. Moles create a large network of intertwined chambers by burrowing deep and close to the ground surface. You may have seen molehills where a mole has pushed up the dirt above the surface.

These tunnels are the primary problem with moles. They can run all over a lawn or leave large dirt molehills in several areas, which can ruin your landscaping or yard. Since moles live underground, they cannot be controlled by live trapping. All mole traps are lethal.

Call D & G Varmint Control, Inc for help with your mole problem today! Emergency services are available.

Don't Let Armadillos Dig Up Your Yard

The Nine-Banded Armadillo is a very ancient creature and comes from a family much like anteaters. They have a suit of armor made up of bone-like material. Thriving in warmer climates with soft soil, armadillos dig for all of their food, such as grubs and earthworms. They dig big, deep burrows where they live and raise their young and they always have identical quadruplets.

Armadillos have a great sense of smell, and when startled they jump straight up and run away quickly. Primarily nocturnal, they sometimes also come out after rain or in cool weather. Adults are typically around two feet long and 12 pounds.

Contact D & G Varmint Control, Inc to get rid of armadillos on your property. We have more than 35 years of experience in varmint removal.

Try not to have direct contact with Armadillos because they are the only other mammal in the world that can carry leprosy.
